Belediyede cenaze işleri görevlisi olan Orhan, kimsesizler mezarlığının da sorumlusudur. Sevgilisi Serpil’le evlenmek ister; fakat parasızlıktan evlenemez. Orhan’ın arkadaşı Rafet, bir cesedi ortadan kaldırmak ister ve bunun için Orhan'dan para karşılığında cesedin kimsesizler mezarlığına gömülmesini talep eder. Orhan’ın vicdanı rahat etmez; ancak alacağı parayla Serpil’le evlenebileceğini düşünür ve istemeyerek de olsa teklifi kabul eder. Fakat, cesedin gömüleceği sırada, adamın ölmediği fark edilir ve işler karışır.

Orhan works for the municipality as an undertaker. He is responsible for the cemetery of the unknown. He wants to get married to his girlfriend Serpil but he cannot because he is broke. Rafet, a friend of Orhan, reaches to him to get rid of a dead body. He offers cash to him to bury the body in the cemetery of the unknown. It does not feel right, but Orhan thinks he could marry Serpil if he accepts the money. He accepts unwillingly, Things get complicated when he realizes that the guy wasn't dead when he was about to bury him.
